YOUTH FACING SEVERAL CHARGES
Police say a 17-year-old Kingston youth is facing numerous charges after shooting a woman with a BB gun. The accused was travelling in a vehicle with three other persons in the early morning hours of Aug. 9 when he got out of the car, entered another unlocked car and stole a wallet. The youths later drove by the victim and shot her 3 times with the bb gun.  Police spotted the youths traveling on Highway 15 and pulled them over. The accused has been charged with possession of a weapon, pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon, and possession of stolen property.

POLICE SEEK B&E SUSPECT
Kingston Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a break and enter suspect. On July 17 around 9 p.m. a man was captured on surveillance cameras breaking into an apartment building on Armstrong Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers.

MAN ARRESTED FOR UTTERING DEATH THREATS
A 41-year-old Kingston man has been arrested after reportedly attacking a former friend and neighbour over alleged mistreatment of another tenant. On Saturday  around 9 p.m. the accused showed at the victims residence where he grabbed the victim by the throat and threatening to kill him. Police were called and arrested him. He was charged with assault and utter threats to cause death.

HORNE’S FERRY OUT OF SERVICE
Horne’s Ferry which operates between Wolfe Island and Cape Vincent remains out of service.  Service was stopped yesterday at 1015am so crews could work to replace the engine gear box. Ferry service is expected to be up and running Friday morning.
