Rockin’ the Big House

Tickets to Rockin’ the Big House at Kingston Penitentiary this September sold out in about two minutes on Saturday prompting complaints from people who didn’t get tickets.

One of the organizers of concert says they don’t think scalpers were able to scoop any of the 2,500 tickets.

Pat Murphy says Ticketmaster can’t control bots but so far no tickets have shown up on sites that re-sell tickets and they believe scalpers were shut out.

Murphy says 200 hard tickets were available at the Leon’s Centre box office and more than 50 people who lined up got tickets.  Murphy says there were about 25 people who were turned away on Saturday morning.
