Billy Ray Cyrus Remixes Lil Nas X

You may or may not know about Lil Nas X, but this young man has become rather famous in the last few weeks!

He released a song called ‘Old Town Road‘

The song debuted at Number 19 on Billboard’s Hot Country chart! It was removed because it didn’t identify as “Country”

Billboard released the following statement about why it was removed form the charts!

“Upon further review, it was determined that ‘Old Town Road’ by Lil Nas X does not currently merit inclusion on Billboard’s country charts. When determining genres, a few factors are examined, but first and foremost is musical composition. While ‘Old Town Road’ incorporates references to country and cowboy imagery, it does not embrace enough elements of today’s country music to chart in its current version.”

So country star Billy Ray Cyrus has remixed the track and it’s getting even more attention!
