Dollar A Day Foundation, co-founded by Canadian musician Alan Doyle, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador Andrew Furey and Founder of Columbus Communications Group of Companies Brendan Paddick. Dollar A Day helps provide treatment to those suffering from mental illness and addictions by raising money from Canadian donors to support charities all across Canada.
World Mental Health Day is on Saturday, October 10, and Alan has written a song called “It’s Okay,” which speaks to the struggles of mental health and addictions. He recorded it in the midst of the pandemic with three other artists, The Fortunate Ones, Ennis Sisters, and Racheal Cousins.
Many people suffering from mental health and addictions do not have the supports they need to get on the road to recovery. Dollar A Day exists to raise funds to close the gap between the availability of frontline mental health and addictions programs and the growing need.

Mental health issues are growing, and we must rise to the occasion. To donate or find out more please click here.
