Garth Brooks on Being Covered by Childish Gambino

It’s like alter ego inception! And Brooks is into it.

Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino recently did a cover of Chris Gaine’s (aka Garth Brooks) ‘Lost in You’ for Triple-J’s Like A Version.

During an Inside Studio G Facebook Live Garth said: “It’s neat to see somebody that is so friggin’ cool, and to hear him sing that with that kind of passion and love was very, very sweet. He not just covered it, he owned it.

“Music is where we all come together.”

Chris Gaines was Brooks’ Alternative Rock alter ego in the 90’s – Lost In You was his first single.
