MISSING WOMAN

Kingston Police are looking for a missing woman.

 

28-year old Julia MacKinnon was last seen near Stanley Street around 11pm Sunday.

 

She is described as roughly 5 foot 2, 170lbs, with long, brown hair.

 

She was last seen wearing dark pants and a dark brown jacket.

 

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

 

HAMMER ASSAULT

A man who wielded a hammer during an argument with a neighbor has been charged with assault with a weapon.

Officers say an argument started in the hallway of their Kingston apartment building and one man attacked the other with the hammer.

Officers found the man shortly after and he was taken in for a bail hearing.

 

PIZZA SPEAR ROBBERY

A Kingston man who robbed a pizzeria with a homemade spear has been sentenced to three years in jail.

 

32-year-old James McIntosh robbed the little Caesers on Princess Street in January and was found guilty this week.

 

McIntosh threatened a cashier with the spear made from a broomstick and a kitchen knife before leaving with the cash register and an undisclosed amount of cash.
