Grave Tampering

A bizarre story from Prince Edward County where the OPP says a man and woman have been charged with indignity to a dead body.

Police were called to investigate a complaint about grave site tampering in Wellington on Tuesday afternoon.

Credit Card Theft

Kingston Police have charged a 15 and 16 year old with theft after a teacher’s credit card was stolen from her purse at a high school on June 1st.  It was used to purchase items at a variety store near the school.  Attempts to use it for online purchases later in the day were denied.

A 15 year old boy was arrested at police headquarters on Monday on an unrelated matter and the arresting officer recognized him from the variety store surveillance video.

A 16 year old was arrested at his home.

The pair have been charged with theft – the 15 year old was also charged with breaching conditions of his release on other charges and the 16 year old was also charged with breach of probation.
