Meet this Week's "Friday Furball"- Zeus

Looking for an extra-large lap dog to add to your family? Zeus came into the shelter as his previous owners had a change in life style and felt he needed more attention than they could give him. Zeus is an absolute doll who is playful, affectionate, and wiggly. He is a gentle giant and would love a relaxed, easy-going family. The hustle and bustle of kids and active teens can cause him some stress, we so are seeking an adult-only, large breed experienced family. Zeus is very food motivated and loves learning new tricks for treats! He has shown that he can very possessive over his food in shelter, however, this was not reported in his previous home. Given this information, we are seeking a mature family who is willing to feed Zeus separately in another room if there is another animal in the household. His adoptive family will need to be patient and either tolerate and manage this behavior, or be willing to consult a behaviourist. Zeus doesn’t mind the company of other relaxed dogs, but he would be happy being on his own. If you’re looking for the perfect companion, drop by to meet Zeus. He will undoubtedly flop himself right beside you, hoping for some one-on-one attention. He can’t wait to find a loving family that will guide him through the process and be patient with him every step of the way.
